Bryan Burkentine is currently in his 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at The Pennsylvania State University. In May 2016, he will graduate with an Integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in construction management. Bryan will also receive a minor in Architectural when he graduates. He is a member of a number of professional and student organizations including The National Society of Collegiate Scholars along with the Penn State Chapters of the National Association of Home Builders and the Architectural Engineering Institute (Student Society of Architectural Engineers).

During one half of the summer of 2014, Bryan completed a study abroad program in Rome, Italy with the Architectural Engineering Program. While the other half of the summer he participated in a construction management summer internship with Clark Builders Group. This past summer he worked with his twin brother Bryce building two single family spec houses right across from each other. Both of these experiences were extremely valuable in the sense of developing knowledge in coordination, construction and logistics with a large high rise building and a smaller residential house, all of which will be used throughout my career. In the short term he looks forward to beginning work with his parent's family business, Burkentine & Sons Builder, as a Project Manager. While in the long term he wants to expand the family business to a higher level of operation with his two brothers.

Outside of academics, Bryan can be seen traveling around the world. He has visited many unique countries throughout his travels, and it has made him aware of the large variety of cultures and architectural the world presents. In addition to his travels, outdoors is a large part of his life. When the weather permits he is involved in a softball and flag football league. During the fall and winter months he is participating in hunting trips with his friends.
